I went panning for gold in a local river & the pan was full of these gem like crystals that turned out to be scheelite. I was thinking they were diamonds for a while.
I do like my geodes actually, also really like my lapis lazuli. Nothing for investment purposes, I've just loved the idea of getting a nice obelisk of lapis, or a citrine geode. According to a lot of hippie books - a citrine geode placed in the corner of a room is supposed to aid the acquisition of wealth... I just think it looks pretty myself. If you really wanna see hippie crystals at their finest - check out Crystal Earth in West End, Brisbane, some nice pieces, if ridiculously overpriced for the new age market
It's one of my favs I was showing one to my mistress and she was saying "that's sooooo pretty!". I'm glad she appreciates my rocks The specimens with large metallic cubes are awesome
