i so wish they had coin shows in Dubai... no such luck, and when I was in Cape Town - no coin shows there either.

They look like a place I would spend too much money so maybe a good thing though :)

Sorry off topic but was just curious if you are planning a hard back copy version on the new book Peter?

The book should be released in August, hopefully, or September latest. I will talk to the printer about the feasibility of a hardcover edition.

The first time I ordered from Downies/Eurocollect, they asked the copy of my CC statement and my drivers license. I felt weird, but had no choice, so scanned those and emailed them.

Can't decide if this will be a good buy or not. I have a feeling they will flood eBay after the show. Is the pre-order price the same as what people attending the show will have to pay? Plus there is going to be 10,000 of them...the massive price appreciation on past show coins had much smaller quantities.

    Decisions, decisions...

Smart thinking---5 oz here as well---2500 mintage sealed the deal

    "The dog wags the tail..."

Demand for an item is more important than supply/mintage. So the 1oz could be the winner.

But that being said, I think the 5oz will perform well.

I do see that there have been no 5 oz silver medals produced since 1988---24 years

Despite the "high" mintage for the 1 oz but still worth a bet and keep it for a while ..
just wondering if NGC will grade this medal ?
