It's looking more likely that I'll be at the show! :) Maybe a 55% chance at the moment! :)

I prefer to pickup the coins at the show than get them delivered :)

Yeah, I'm feeling what you're saying Lim... last year a lot of the Pandas were in HOT demand I heard.

From what I read on CCF they haven't even released the press release yet.

So far only their website, CCF, here and Kitco have mentioned that this medal is for sale and the demand is already amazing.

Gonna be hot... I can't see the downside of buying at least 1 for keepsakes.

This is a nice medallion to keep for your daughter. Very pretty too!

I hope they don't sell out before I have a chance to get some... I hope I can get my 7% back on the way out too :)

I bought 3 of the 5oz, no 1oz. Thinking back, I wish I would have picked up a 1oz also. Oh well, I can probably call and add it on. I just had sticker shock at $175/oz. I've gotten used to paying $100-$125 for perth stuff, but havent' got my mind wrapped around $175 yet for something that is just coming out:lol:

Hello I am new to the forum but have been a collector for a few years.I am interested in pandas and am looking to go to the Singapore expo.

Is it cheaper to get coins from this expo? And what are the best coins to get that you guys feel have the most appreciation.

    Thanks in advance.

Welcome mclaren779, it's always a pleasure to meet new people in the Panda Forum.

It may be a little bit more expensive to buy some Pandas at the Singapore Expo (due to their 7% GST on precious metals)... but then again, there could be some BARGAINS! :)

    Preorders available at PandaAmerica website...

They have the usual disclaimer of "this is not a confirmation of shipping, just confirmation we got your order" type of thing like Perth Mint.

It's been awhile but the stuff I shipped to Australia via fedex arrived in 3 days and cost me about $15 to $18 as I remember.

Yeah, the shipping is pretty insane. Just 1 x 5oz silver coin to Aussie would cost you $40. I thought I could average down the cost by adding a 1 x 1oz silver coin, and it came up to $60! :/
