    Wow, extremely detailed!

I wonder what the finish is on them as it seems to be gray and the other figures are darker. And how the finish behaves over time - left untouched vs. touched vs. on display.

$299 for 6oz in Art Form. I looked at few and noted they were limited to 8,000.

$8000 for the full chess set with a mintage of 1,000. If they're 6oz a piece then there's 192oz per set, works out at $41.60USD/Oz.

The Atlantis is only 4.5oz, and there are 16 of them in the 32 statue set, so it's 168oz. Damn I want a set.. hahaha.

Yeah but if you get a set it'd end up in the SDB and imagine the space it'd take up.

I'll still admire from a distance, plenty of rich folk out there who wouldn't bat an eyelid at the cost though.

The 6 statue set actually works out to be cheaper per oz than the 32 statue set.

Thanks for posting this! I actually picked up one. Some here might cringe at paying $300 Us for 6oz of silver , but many of those same individuals would likely not bat an eye to pay $150 for one-ounce silver proof coin that they really like. Although those sorts likely have much lower mintages (say 500 or 1000), one could argue that an item like these statues have much broader appeal (outside of the coin investor communities such as these) .

I should note that upon my purchase I was sent a 10% off voucher with my next purchase (over the next two-week period)...if I had the funds I would consider the 6 statue set, as the discount would make it $1440 US ...which works out to $40/oz..which I don't think is too bad for such a piece of "art" , and considering that I see the price of silver reaching that value easily within 5 years.

    Cheers,
    Luker

    Aww, man!

Don't you know I'm on a limited budget right now?? :(

    My concerns are as follows:

    - The thin skinny parts -- susceptible to bending or breaking?

    - I read this: "Containing SIX Troy Ounces of .999 fine investment-grade silver..." -- What else does it contain (aside from the below), if anything?

    - Also saw this: "Plated with rhodium & black ruthenium" -- I'm really a purist. No nothing slapped on top but Ag & more Ag. But if it helps to strengthen / protect the pieces, maybe not so bad? Might have to reconsider my stance.

    - Price. But really not all that terrible, considering. Probably worth it.

    - Stamped on the bottom with specifications?

Anyway, these things are pretty sweet!

Gonna have to do some soul-searching..

    WOW.

Now that's a premium that is justifiable!

BTW, perhaps I'm mistaken, but it appears many of those images are actually just some sort of graphical rendition.

Looks like the real deal can be found on their Facebook page, as seen here..

    Everywhere...simultaneously

Could be resin and it looks larger than the 3 1/2" that the silver cast statues are.
