    Information overload!

Wonder if they're aware that 'rein' means to allow for complete freedom and 'reign' means sovereign power. Pretty sure that's what they're against. Unless they're being amusingly ironical?

    rein (rn)
    n.
    1. A long narrow leather strap attached to each end of the bit of a bridle and used by a rider or driver to control a horse or other animal. Often used in the plural.
    2. A means of restraint, check, or guidance.
    3. A means or an instrument by which power is exercised. Often used in the plural: the reins of government.

    reign (rn)
    n.
    1. Exercise of sovereign power, as by a monarch.
    2. The period during which a monarch rules.
    3. Dominance or widespread influence: the reign of reason.

    So freedom rules ;)

    Free rein vs. free reign

The usual spelling of the phrase meaning freedom to do as one pleases is free rein, not free reign. The latter is a common misspelling, and it almost makes sense given reign's meaning (i.e., the exercise of sovereign power). But free rein, an allusion to horseback riding, is the original form, and it is much more common in published texts.

Meh, it's the Americans. Always dropping and adding letters willy nilly!

You're right, freedom reigns would have made better sense. Maybe he's fighting the rules of spelling as well as society. :p

On another more serious note, last I read Chris Duane didn't have control of this particular website - it belongs to the Mulligan Mint, unless there's been a recent handover. So this could be MM co opting his intellectual property.

Please be aware this is not orginal SBSS. The creator and copyright owner of the SBSS name, designs, website, etc (Chris Duane) recently severed ties with The Mulligan Mint (Rob Gray) who was producing the medallions for him. Since the split, Mulligan Mint have not given Chris his website back, his dies, etc and are continuing to bring out medallions under the SBSS name without Chris' consent and explicit directions not to.

You'll notice that any new medallion MM bring out will not have the usual "Silver Bullet Silver Shield" reverse and they also do not say "AOCS Approved" on them anymore either as David Gray (not related to Rob) from AOCS sided with Chris Duane and therefore refuses to approve any new medallions coming out of the MM.

Heidi Wastweet, the artist who did "Debt & Death" and "Freedom Girl" has also stuck with Chris and is also now has nothing to do with anything new coming out of MM.

Chris is finalising deals with 2 new mints to produce genuine SBSS medallions. The next 2 designs in the genuine series are entitled "Warbird" and "Love". Both designed and sculpted by Heidi.

The Tit for Tat spat between them is making for great entertainment, we have come to our own conclusion,

" Listen to both, purchase nothing from neither"

House---Don't waste energy wondering whether or not the SBSS Crew/Ex-SBSS Crew/New+Improved SBSS Crew (or who/whatever) is being "amusingly ironical." That level of literary sophistication is far beyond their reach. We're happy that they frequently succeed in differentiating between there, their and they're and to, too and two...

As for the characterization of Americans as "Always dropping and adding letters willy nilly!" ..... Please realize that a third of us are clueless functional illiterates, another third of us are rappers (who could be described the same way) and the remaining third of us are trying desperately (albeit unsuccessfully) to hold it all together. If an occasional letter gets dropped or added, it's because only a third of us are still on the job.

This is making me a little uncomfortable. I've got orders for the newly released Sentinel rounds. Mailed the payment off already. :/
If this guy Rob Gray is doing what we all think he's doing then he's trash with no integrity.

Both parties are rats fighting for your money, best to just forget about both.

The reason they got together in the first place is because they're both profiteering scumbags.
