Perth Bullion deliver day after or 2 days after order for me, so I guess its all down to good ol assie post for some who are east. Although I just happened to look at charts last week which is not my thing and actually bought on a real low, well it took a week to deliver? they must have been in panic mode over my 10oz pm bar and 1g certicard purchase lol
After a years experience stacking I've found PB and GS to be good allrounders with good variety even though I initially wondered why being in Sydney with all it's size and commerce I was having to buy from interstate. With a bit more experience and clearer plans for future stacking I'll be going locally to Bullion List and although I haven't been there, suspect Bullion Money would be similar. Maybe not coincidental that all are site sponsors and that I have found other local places disappointing and they are not site sponsors. Wonder if this would be the same in other capital cities, say Melbourne?

Don't confuse the method of postage with the method of insurance. As you correctly stated, Australia Post doesn't insure bullion, however Goldstackers carries separate insurance for up to $25,000 per shipment.
If you take the time to visit a state receiving facility of aus post you realize that platinum post is the only form of post you should use if you want to "guarantee" delivery will be made! I was a postie once when work was very short and I wasnt the first or last to loose a registered letter, no biggie! loose a platinum post at your bit and face jail time! Platinum post and international platinum post is in direct competition with the likes of DHL for business market share of important documents that "Must be delivered" on time and fully intact. KPMG are paid to monitor platinum post by the "hour"
