yes i realise that. that's why i asked the question with 'seriously' at the start of it.

surely gold prospectors would be interested in it?

yep, mr medved is right. that liquid gold of humbolts is of a lower viscosity than Hg so it is infact more liquid

Perhaps it is time to revisit this thread.

Liquidity would seem to be a major problem to establish a bullion culture in other rare metals.
However, some elements may fit Mises' requirements very well.
And with new tech to verify metal composition (XRF etc), the future could be promising.
A "pool" situation for investors might work, and also provide a supply bank for industry.

I bought Chamath's MP. Chanced on it by accident a couple months back. One of my best performing stock which I'm not selling. As I understand, it's the only rare earth mine in the US.

One strange thing I never understood even today is why the price dipped from $14 to $11 just before the conversion. I nearly wanted to double my FVAC but got cold feet when the price dipped so much. It's crazy. This shows "price" is not real. The dip is probably some manipulation to scare shareholders to dump their stock.

you got to push the competitors out, China control 90% of the RE processing
just by lowering their price, no other place is competently cheap enough lol
