I notice some sellers are finding a bit hard to flip 1oz snakes here and it made me thinks twice whether to buy more snakes or the reminting kooks when the silver spot dips again.

I read the arguments in the forum that the premi on snake is too high and there are other nicer cheaper silver coins around (in my case I choose kooks after lunar)

So my Qs are: will you buy more reminting kook over snake in the next coming dip and After series 2 is completed, will reminting kook be sold as high as snake?

Lets weight in your unit cost, $37 v $40

    Your thought is appreciated.

Snakes for me. Although, will new 2013 kook mintage of a gazillion create more unmatched sets with holders of later years chasing the earlier coins? This may push up kook prices?

Neither ,I've gone of 1oz coins ( 1990 krook is the only exception )
    Sovereigns & 10oz bars
I was talking a certain dealer earlier today , everybody is asking for 10oz bars
    He has over 40 x 1 kg bars & can't sell them " 10oz bars "

True....I forgot about the 1m mintage.

Maybe should hoard the snakes and 1991 on the next dip :)

wrcmad makes a good point about those trying to finish kook sets will have to pay through the nose got the lower mintage kooks. I too would go the pm snake, can't go wrong with lunars, particularly the snake tiger and dragon... People seem to love the kick arse beasts.

Older kooks once they are gone they are gone.
Look at the demand for the older ones not reminted. Well not yet anyway

i'd go 5 or 10oz dragons @ bullion then 1oz remint kooks @bullion then 5 oz snakes @ bullion then RCM WL 1oz if you can stand the milk spots. Avoiding 1oz snake and 1oz 2013 kooks and ALL bars

I have notcied Kooks are wickedly hotting up lately... and Lunars are dieing in the A*se.

BB has 91 Kooks... these are great value.. with the lunar privy its basically watered down the demand.. ill be waiting for the cheaper more limited more bullion than bullion ones.. i know some guys are fussy and only want the non-privy but my experience selling internationally shows me that there is still good demand for privy versions... and better spread for us trying to make a quick short term profit..

People expect snakes near bullion )standard Kook/kaoal price so overpaying from the start means youll need to make them more expensive to get the same profit which will make them less attrractive to potential buyers.. ie: you willl sell less...

IE: get elephants or kooks.. sell for MORE and cost around $5 less (greater spread).

Long term.. who knows? id say 91 kooks are the better bet for mine

    cheers yall

Would've never expected this thread a year ago.

    LUNAR >>>>>>>>>>> KOOKS

Amazing how screwups can completely damage a product's perceived value.
