No limit holdem with turbo time limit? We would need to put a time and date up to see how many can play in the one night. The next 2 or so weekends I'm working 7pm till 7am which would count me out for a Saturday and Sunday. Would any one been keen for a Friday night game?
I propose a Tournament. Wed night 7pm Melb time, 888 1 game a week for 3 months. Points are scored and at the end of season top 3 places get paid. Each game played costs the buy in of 1 Goldstackers Low Premium 1oz Silver, order number posted 1 day before the game(minimum as to orders being confirmed). 1st 50% 2nd 30% 3rd 20% or winner take all TOURNAMENT PLACING POINTS EARNED 1st 125 points + total number of players 2nd 100 points + total number of players 3rd 75 points + total number of players 4th 50 points + total number of players 5th 40 points + total number of players 6th 30 points + total number of players 7th 20 points + total number of players 8th 10 points + total number of players 9th 10 points + Half total number of players 10th - 16th Half total number of players (Minimum of 10 points) All other players 10 points Point system from 888
Since Andy28 started the post, I believe he/she should make the final decision plus which site to use (Pokerstars, 888, etc.) Can I make a suggestion to make things a little easier... Post two nights that best suit and go with the most popular night. In the event of a draw...Andy28 makes the final decision I'll start , since you guys couldn't organize a root in a brothel.......I'm just practicing my sledging for the game Friday or Saturday
poker stars for sure. Haven't payed Texas holdem for a few months but quite sure I can kick some members arses. (cough argento cough )
I would be interested as well, holdem on Pokerstars. Wouldn't be interested in a 3 month tourney just single games (as I might not be able to make every tourney)
I also can't commit to a series (as much as I like the idea). Pokerstars is also the more popular option. I propose: Sunday 10th November 8pm Start. NLH tourney on Stars $25 entry fee payable to Ossie who has made a very generous offer in terms of prize and organisation. If this is agreeable, I can make a thread with the details. Is posting deposit details secure? I imagine it is, but if not we can do it via PM. Otherwise, in that thread, Ossie can post the payment details, and then post in the thread the name of the payees. As Ossie posts who has paid, I will PM them with the password for the game. Depending on the numbers/success of this, we can look at holding future games on a different night so each person gets a go.
To make it easier on the dealers, It would be winner take all, though if agreed upon before hand (and depending on numbers) maybe we can say the winner should ship the runner up 1-2ozs, or deposit them the equivalent of 2 unallocated ounces.
