Still showing as available through the sponsor link: Dragons of Legend - Chinese Dragon 2012 1oz Silver Proof Coin edit - yep, just tested it after posting, not showing as unavailable at time of this post. They might be releasing stock in batches to try and spread out website load.
Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 9:35:03 AM WST Only 69 Chinese Dragons are available for purchase at Perth Mint.
People constantly adding 9999 items to their cart to check stock on hand are also probably impacting other customers' ability to place orders
http://www.prospectstampsandcoins.c...end-chinese-dragon-1oz-silver-proof-coin.html http://www.intnumis.com.au/product_info.php/products_id/7713 few more places to try, sure there are more but i am off out in to the sun.
I would not recommend Canadians to buy from Intnumis. Last year i spend over $500 buying coins from Intnumis in one purchased. My shipping fees was $68 Au, plus i got hit with $72 Cad custom fees. Lesson learn.
i'm new to Australian coins, but my last two purchases with Perth Mint were hit with custom fees. I was not pleased. I have no idea how they're determining what gets charged.
US$129 shipped is still cheaper than what the cutoms+shipping would be from anywhere within Australia so I'm happy
Found this on Perth mint Blog, maybe it explains: Blog Team says: May 2, 2012 at 8:36 am .Hi Nate As you no doubt spotted, this is a 'Commissioned product struck by The Perth Mint'. Hence we are not wholesaling the coin; and hence our very limited allocations. Good luck Blog Team
