    Hi all,

Last year my daughter arrived early and we ended up spending pre-, post- and Xmas day in intensive care in hospital (thankfully she came home with us on new years day).

I was so thankful at the time for the gifts that people I didnt even know brought in for my little girl and us - and thinking about it again just made me tear up a little.

Being in hospital sucks, especially at Xmas.

So I would like to donate $10 for you to buy some Choccie coins for the treasure chest (if you feel that would be a good idea), after all silver bling is great but a little edible golden bling is even better.
I will leave it up to you Maggie if you can find them or want to instead get something else sweet (eg Haighs choc) you think Mum and daughter (and lets not forget the fabulous nurses) may like to share.

I would like to donate more, but thats $10 more than I am willing to spend on myself at the present moment (and I am still planning on making a surprise visit back to the hospital this year to pay it forward and repay the kindness we were shown)

Maggie can you pls send me you bank deets again when you get a chance.

Thanks all for this fantastic gesture - its times like this I am proud to be a SS member.

Thank you Au-mageddon, the original idea I had when I started this thread was that for people to give small amounts (what they could afford) and as a combined group effort, we could make a difference to these people's xmas.
You have done your bit and that's all that was asked. It has blown me away by the generousity of some of our members here on silver stackers and I am honoured to be a part of it.
All I have done is plant the seed, it is all of you that has made this happen and be as successful as it has become.

giving is its own reward and no amount is too small we all come from different economic back grounds so what ever the gift it fills both hearts the giver and receiver :)

so never think a small gift means nothing it means a lot :)

Today at the market there's heap of chests...from $10 to $60 carved wooden chest that I think he's trying to make a kill.

Anyway, I went home with this one.

Let me know if we want to use any one of these two boxes. Also let me know if we want more pic/measurement.
