    Hi Stackers,

For those of you who are not paid members, there is a thread in that part of Silver Stackers that was started in support of one of our fellow stackers (Kaz) who is going through a really tough time as her Daughter is in hospital with some very serious health issues. I am quite new in this part of SS (paid) and this thread really has got me thinking how greatfull I am that I have a healthy duaghter. I can't possibly imagine what Kaz and her family must be going through right now.
This xmas im guessing will be like no other for Kaz so to show my support I would like to donate 2 round 50c to Kaz for her to do with what she wishes. I know its not much but I feel so fortunate to have what I do and would just like to pay it forward.

I would like to encourage any other stacker who may be reading this to do the same, as a group we may be able to make a small difference to Kaz and Em's xmas this year.
In show of support please post your pledge here, come on stackers what's 1 round 50c, I know some of you have 100's of them. Let's make up A Silver Hamper that we can send Kaz to let her know that all of us here at Silver Stackers are thinking of her and Em this festive season.

All silver in All forms and sizes will be accepted and appreciated, please post on the thread what you will be donating in show of support to Kaz and Em

Maggie has been kind enough for us to use her nest as a dumping ground and then she will be sending everyones donations together in one lot to Kaz and Em along with a card.

    Great sentiment SS77.

How about people send $$ to Maggie instead of the 50s and she does a bulk buy with what we commit? Saves on postage for all and people like me who dont have any spare round 50s can also chuck in.

BTW put me down for $20. :)

Happy to put in $20 as well.

    Cheers markcoinoz

Fiat is just as good I think, I like the personal side of giving something out of my stack. It would really be the cost of a stamp to send a round 5o sticky taped to the inside of a card. It doesn't have to be round 50's, any pre decimal junk coins (florins,shillings,6p,3d), old sterling jewellery, any beat up .999 rounds or coins you may have.
You get my drift, it would be nice to assemble a great little pirate booty for Kaz and Em to open up :)

All good either way folks. Physical or fiat. Maggie will collect all gifts of both.

With the cash donations Maggie will buy some fantastic treasures and combine them with any physical stuff sent to her and make up a xmas bundle for these great people.

Being literally stuck in hospital for months is a hard road for anyone to tread and just as hard for close family and friends. Em isnt the only ill person in the world I know but she and kaz have been kind enough to share their struggle with us and a small personal gift in return is deserved I reckon.

Looks awesome, how much treasure do you think we will fit in it? I suppose it will depend on how generous people are and how much we accumulate. Is it yours? Can we use it if our booty fits in it?

    Cheers

I think its perfect, we will do very well if we fill it with round 50's

Maggie with the cash that you recieve, if we can't fit any more silver inside the box maybe you could get Em a gift card to Myer or Rebel sport to put in the card?
