    Your not wrong there.

Nigel could not have made it any more clearer.

    That is funny.

Italy loans fiat to Spain at 3% interest whilst borrowing fiat at 7% interest:lol:

    How crazy is that:p

    Cheers markcoinoz

How long before Australia has the first politician saying things simply as they are and everyone can understand it.

"If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't really understand it. " Richard Feynman

Fenman was a truly great teacher. He prided himself on being able to devise ways to explain even the most profound ideas to beginning students. Once, I said to him, "Dick, explain to me, so that I can understand it, why spin one-half particles obey Fermi-Dirac statistics." Sizing up his audience perfectly, Feynman said, "I'll prepare a freshman lecture on it." But he came back a few days later to say, "I couldn't do it. I couldn't reduce it to the freshman level. That means we don't really understand it."

He calls it like it is, thats a rare trait in politics!

He is in favour of disbanding the European Parliament and thereby doing himself out of a job .... not many politicians would say that.

Nigel Farrage, Dan Hannan and Ron Paul are probably my favourite politicians globally at the moment.

I'm sorry, whilst i agree with alot of what farage is saying, he really is a total ar53h0le.
Remember, UKIP is basically a England Rules the Waves empire loving winston churchill worshipping nut party of idiots.
It just happens that the EU is making them appear sane.

I agree. he may tell the closest thing to the truth, but the fact that he is British does not help him.
The British have always been outsiders to the EU project and have always winged about it.
This goes back far longer than the Euro but all the way to the 1950s and the Common market which Charles De Gaulle wanted to exclude the British from.

What comes out of Farage's mouth would have a bigger political impact if it came from a nation within the EU establishment.
A disgruntled Frenchman is the obvious choice, but having it come from a Dutchman or a German would be even more powerful.

He really is a statesman among corrupt politicians. Someone that got into politics motivated by doing what's right by the people and not to line his own pockets.

Fair dinkum, how many pollies have ever advocated that all of them should be sacked including himself?

maybe, but his constant carping on about how great the English makes him into the Village Idiot (and especially when in the EU Parliament, it doesn't go down well).
While Farange and many still think that England is 'Great', to me its just another past Empire trying to cling onto its former 'Greatness'.
Someone should ask him how much debt England is committed to. That should shut him up.

Totally agree with both of you, especially with your last paragraph Earthjade.

I feel the same way about USA commentators on europe at the moment too. They're busy pointing the finger at a burning house, without bothering to notice their own house is also on fire. What next, Japanese pointing the finger at Europe? That's be my Pascoe-contrarian indicator.

lol well said but hardly a good comparison. Buffets jibes are all lies. A good comparison would be Buffet campaigning to have Bershire Hathaway broken up because it has too much power.
