UK: EU critic Nigel Farage survey front

    German economic news 20.01.14, 01:36 | 75 Comments

Nigel Farages UKIP is on the rise in the UK: the party made it to the top, in the category of "most popular" party as winner by the target.

The EU-sceptic UK Independence Party (UKIP) has become the most popular party of Great Britain according to a survey. In a survey of newspaper independent on Sunday Nigel Farage's Party on 27 percent approval came as labour and conservatives reached only 25 and 26 percent. UKIP, which strives for an exit from the EU, has become a serious threat for the conservatives.

This is also reflected in party bosses: Nigel Farage of the second most popular party leader, beaten narrowly by David Cameron, but well ahead of Ed Miliband and Nick Clegg.

UKIP is the Sunday question however on 3rd place.

A few days ago, another poll had indicated that the party of Prime Minister David Cameron in the European Parliament election should end up in may behind UKIP and labour. It was the first time ever that the conservatives in a nationwide election ends up in third place.

dailymail.co.uk often has articles about UKIP - usually portraying Farage as a plonker, with a pint or a ciggy in hand. Almost always UKIP and Farage are uparrowed to the top of the comments

Jim Rickards lists a few possible pathways out of the coming economic and geopolitical crisis that we are on the precipice of. One of them is chaos - basically where noone does anything about the problem and the train continues down the mountainside of failure. This is what that nothing looks like. "Leaders" in denial.

Also when we come to major possible turning points such as scottish independence or Swiss gold and even USA government debt ceiling adherence the choice always goes the way of business as usual. The radical path is never taken.

Farage in a Q&A session in the USofA. Of interest are his comments on the return to a gold standard at 5:45.

Some of the most rational comments I've heard on whether or not a gold standard is feasible. Thanks. :)

Beg to differ, he's achieved his goal, he has promised nothing more to the people of Britain, why should he stay on?
