    Hi barsenault,

That new megafatty holder looks awesome! I want one. No, I need one. It seems convenient for holding high relief MCC, or you can use a stack to change a flat tire, or strap one to each hand and play paddleball.

    Cheers, davidt3251

Main page of NGC. Not sure how thick the mammoth 90mm is, but I'm pretty certain it will fit.

"NGC has created a new NGC Oversize Holder that can accommodate coins and medals up to 25 mm in thickness. Previously, the maximum thickness that could be encapsulated in an NGC Oversize Holder was 15 mm."

Ha! She wasn't present for that meeting where they discussed it.

And indeed, famous cert number from our good friend. 25mm is definitely heading in the right direction. I may finally be able to get my Brass 2012 Snake Dance (120mm) medal graded....could be the first of that kind ever graded.

NGC, keep improving your slabs / services and you will give me reason to renew my membership next year.

Well, only 1 way to find out for sure.

Somebody's gotta be the guinea pig.. ;)

I think there will be a lot more "firsts" popping up for some of these medals.

And I'd be surprised if those 4 brass Great Walls that b sent in weren't the first ever.

Yeah, I used all my free NGC submission perks already. May have to wait till next year to subscribe again and get more free submissions or upgrade membership to get more freebies.

Those new bigger fatty's are quite the slab. You think PCGS has anything close to that?

    I don't believe so.

    Here's their official verbiage..

What size holder will my coin need to be encapsulated in?
PCGS currently offers three different holders: standard, oversized, and jumbo-sized. To determine the appropriate holder for your submission, please contact PCGS Customer Service at [email protected]. Although offering three options has expanded the coins PCGS can holder, there may be a select few we are currently unable to accommodate.

    Examples:
    Standard: 25th Anniversary Silver Eagle
Oversized: 5 oz. America the Beautiful
    Jumbo-sized: 90mm. Gold Panda 1kg.

I can think of a select few.. :D
