Same as 2011 Koala with the "Berlin Bear" Privy, never really a success, dont expect this to be any different. Why would the Perth Mint put out 50,000 coins with a non-Australian privy? Easy, money. European dealers mint-to-order 50,000 with a privy and faced with a bag full of cash, the Perth Mint obliges. Remember as we keep hearing from the Perth Mint, part of its charter is to increase sales of Perth Mint products outside of Australia. So foreigners offer the mint a nice profit margins AND get to increase foreign sales, a double win as far as they are concerned. That being said, avoiding these like the plague.
IMO, as new comer in silver investment, i choose privy because they limited. so i hope that price will rising for next year For Koala privy, with only AUD$1++ more than selling price of non-privy on BullionBourse. IMO, PM puts privy not as collection item
