Indeed Many thanks Martinl1983, I see you found the forum then :) (just received the coins you sent 10 minutes ago, all top drawer as described)

You may be wanting to drop in the trade section when your new delivery arrives I would think.

Now I just need to find a few britannia at the right price to make up a couple of pairs for a little bit of a mule train!

yes i found the forum :)

glad they arrived safely and your happy with them,

and yes i will be posting over in the trading area, (depending on how this lot come ofc, witch ware send out to me this morning)

also depending on how this lot come when i reorder i will take a punt on the Britannia's (since both ware ordered direct from RM by my dealer back in nov so good chances if the lunars this time are mules also that the brits should be) *should of thought about it when reordering and just added 1 britannia oh well :) *

If you have a couple of tubes of Britannias is there anything on the tube (QC nbr or security seal nbr) that could indicate the chance of a mule? Or do you basically have to open them all up and do a search?

(I have a couple of tubes and am not sure if I should open them.)

Speaking about tubes, I am wondering if you know the answer: Are the UK lunar horse coins supplied in sheets or tubes, and if tubes how many coins per tube?

The mule version comes in sheets (like the Britannia), the original version in tubes

For the mule version (if you wanna bid for it): make sure it is in a sheet, that will make it more valuable

Thanks. So does that mean mules are only in the sheets?

    That's correct Pete.

It also makes a lot of sense to me... The Royal Mint used the Britannia die for the backside, so they were accidentally treated as Britannias in the packaging process. That's why they ended up in sheets

The sheet is pretty flimsy so why would the price be higher ?
I took my lunar mules out of the sheet and placed in capsules so have I lost out ?
I kept some of the sheets so anyone requiring the original plastic square can request it.

I am thinking of trading my Britannia mule for gold (coins). I am open to offers. PM me if you are interested. I am in the US so for the sake of shipping costs it might be best if we keep this to North America.

    Thanks for reading!
