Looks like your call could have been correct. Or it's just banking FUD. I wouldn't be adding to my portfolio at the moment until I see more concrete evidence that it will all kick off again.

And just a message to some, you'll piss off any moderator if you keep bitching about the presence of threads/sub-forums that have been around for years long before you even decided to join.

The "Digital Currencies" sub-forum was around before you joined. And you've been bitching since you joined. ;)

Only 12 post predate my joining and I'm not bitching about those long dead threads lol.
I actually don't care, fortunes made, fortunes lost
Crypto is responsible and still continues to be responsible for the biggest transfer of wealth in history. Nothing compares to it in raw numbers and it's going to hold that record for a long time imho once they lose the same type of trust the banks had and there is a race to $0 as everyone tries to cash out.
can't wait for that $$$ to flood back into precious metals and push prices up

This website isn't a bad one to have floating around if you are looking at Crypto visually.
You can move from 100 to 1000 top cryptos as well as set the time down to 5 minutes.
In other words you may see a quick opportunity for a short trade. The Bubbles are in real time
showing which ones are moving. Which ones are Green and Red.
Obviously, you have to check to see how liquid each token is.
Nothing worse than being caught in a pump and dump leaving you holding the bag.

I think buying crypto for stability and wealth preservation is alot like marrying a single mother of 5 just because she always has great snacks at the house.

I can only think of two that can provide stability and growth, shares and property. Gold is like marrying a grandmother, she's not going to get better looking with age no matter how long you wait.

That being said, crypto is still in the discovery phase so it has enormous potential (yes pie in the sky I know) and everyone should have some small exposure to gold in their portfolios. I see investing as a constantly changing process of minimising the harm of opportunity cost.

@markcoinoz, I checked out the website, I like it, and I noticed that Neo is still a thing. WTF? Up 28% for the month. People still buying it? Why?

Id like to know why @hardyakkagold has such an unfettered hatred toward crypto and its users ESPECIALLY considering how willfully/deliberately ignorant this individual is towards it?

Where did the bad man touch you bruv?

    Haven't really followed Neo much.
I am nearly all BTC. Got out of Solana, because it is not keeping up when it comes to trading the pairs. Have some GRT. That is about it. Fantom has been a steady mover since the beginning of the year. From what I have seen, we are just around the corner for a big BTC move upward and I don't want to miss it.
There might be some quick-moving Alt Coins here and there over the next 6 or 8 months. However, most will bleed leaving BTC to do what it does best. I am not prepared to take the risk in Alts until we are in a full-blown Altcoin Season. That may not happen until next year. What's that saying? Slow and steady wins the race. Off-topic. My beautiful Black Labrador Kelpie, Lluka died about 7 weeks ago. Thankfully, she died of old age. She would have been 15 in August. That is a photo of her when she was about 8 years old in my avatar. We won't be getting another dog. More than likely, we will be minding a couple of our friends' dogs when they go on holidays.

BTC up over 33% this month, bear market definitely behind us IMO. I'm not bullish on anything for the rest of the month as I'm convinced though that we'll see the price of all assets fall again after the FOMC meeting. However I think that BTC should get back on trend and climb higher after the small correction. I haven't added to my position as a result, will likely top up when it gets back over the $25G mark down the track, it seems to be tracking my predicted path nicely.

Crazy times Shiney. I find it fascinating to look at the cycles throughout the various markets. Gold and its little brother Silver are also starting to benefit.
Flight to safety. If you follow the 4 year cycle narrative, Plan B's Monthly Chart shows we are in a similar position to where we were back in 2019 of the cycle.
In your chart, you can clearly see that we have broken through a major resistance level. I have my next major resistance level just above yours at $38k.

Nearly time to flick an email off to Ainslie and top up the BTC account, we'll just wait for JPow to see if there's a dip. BTC market dominance up to 50% from about 30% in Dec 22.
