I'll tell ye landlubbers a crusty old tale. Back in 95, the good ship QE2 landed in Melbourne. Nobody really gave a seagulls rear end about it. I stood next to her, along with about 50 others on the pier. The following year they released 'Titanic'. Soon after that QE2 came to visit again. Now there were 50,000 people on the pier.
I think lads we have had our 'Titanic' moment. Lucky we know how the movie actually ended so grab your little Katie Winslets while the going is good and make the most of it.

Spot Gold Tops $1,900 For First Time Since 2011

And I'll thank ye crew to stop shaving wee bits off de golden anchor!
(If ye shave any more off it it might become a float rather than an anchor).

We got rained out today at work so I'm going back to the lcs.

Since I've been saving cash to have a well drilled silver has gone up almost 90 percent and its killing me!
I did buy what I could when it dipped but I was in cash mode and I need to get this done.
This 7k is worth about 5k now and if I'd have bought silver would be over 10 or 12k now but then again I'd have to sell it all in a hurry.

Excuse me while I go punch myself in the balls.

Anyone telling you they know what silver is going to do is like saying they know what women think :p

Geez I went to my lcs to see what he had and I spent almost $1000 haha.
Converted $1000 from fiat to silver I meant.
Let's call it what it is.

I also talked to him about converting my silver when the ratio is right for me. He said he will absolutely do that as long as he has the gold in stock.
He pays 95 percent for eagles, 90 percent for private mints, generics and junk.

It would work out to me losing around 5 or 6 percent overall to do the trade but would be worth it at the right time.
At a 50 to 1 ratio it would cost me 2 or 3 extra silver ounces to convert, totally worth it the lower it drops.

Well, I've been thinking about it all weekend and I've done all the calculations and I'm now pretty sure that I can state with some degree of confidence that in general it appears that we travel somewhat faster when the golden anchor is up rather than down.

Nice sailing men! We were watching Berg 23 with a glassy weather eye at 12:30pm just as we sat down to be eatin' our hard tack n' rum - and we rounded Berg 24 at 1:15pm.
So that's 45 minutes between the bergs -- which is all fine and dandy of course, but let's not get complacent and let our high standards slip.
For example, I've been hearin' rumours that some of ye have been watchin' TikToks when ye should be sailing, and someone left a lilac hydraflask outside the main galley this morning. Sksksk!

That, or articles that do briefly mention it, to then immediately suggest they sell it since it’ll be “at its top” and to not get caught selling on the drop. And how “volatile” it is compared to stocks :D
