    Thanks, I thought about it but then like I said, I just wanted a raw look. I have enough coins in capsules

    I'm so gonna try this, Did you use a dremel?. I'm going to, hope it turns out OK

    But I'm am pretty nervous that the chain on the key ring will break and I wont notice, bye bye 1/2oz of silver

    Put a dab of solder where the split is on the Ring that connects to the coin stop it from pulling apart

    I used just a hand-held drill abit of wood behind It

    Also I looked at the ring holding the coin an I'm very confident in it, plus 1/2oz isn't heavy at all and it won't really get snagged on anything

    Heat the ends of the ring with the iron then apply the solder.

    Good onya daniel anyone can own a silver coin . it takes a real man to take a power tool to one :p: & its actually more useful than a shiney trinket . I think it will look cool when it gets a bit dinged up & has some patina

    Yeah, I just assume it will be trashed after rubbing other keys in your pocket for a year or so. Still, it came out great.
