Is there any way to polish small scratches off a coin capsule? Thanks

    70c for a new capsule outweighs the effort/materials needed to remove scratch/s.

    Thanks everyone. I managed to get some Andean Cats but they were in loose capsules. The caps are scratched but not the cats.

    True enough, but on the other hand, say you got some coins in "original capslues" of a particular style, and that style is used by that mint, and everyone knows X coin comes in Y style capsule.

    You change style of capsule, you immediately throw doubt on the legitimacy of your coin, ya?

    If it is a surface scratch, the best thing I have used is McGuire's Scratch-X. But it wont help if the scratches have penetrated right through the paint layer. It also wont help with dents :p.
