Let's say silver went to $10,000, where the economies are relatively stable and not in a SHTF situation. What would you stackers do? Personally, I would sell 75% of my stack, pick up a couple condos and continue modifying my car and maybe travel to Asia and Australia
Convert half+ to gold as a nest egg. Buy up some pre-made passive income streams like rental properties, and low-maintenance websites so I never have to sacrifice my time in the rat race. Hire a bevy of cute french maids to take care of my domestic needs. Devote the rest of my life to researching the aether and how we can exploit it for free energy, gravity distortion, and time-travel.
1. Pay off debt. 2. Establish a $10M property portfolio with no mortgages, live off the rental proceeds. 3. Swap $5M to gold. 4. Pay off siblings debts, and give them a couple mill each. 5. Establish a charitable fund for causes close to my heart. Unless, of course, that $10k/oz only buys a loaf of bread... Do ya reckon I've ever thought about thus scenario? Honestly, do you think Ag will hit $10k/oz with concomitant excreta hitting said fan?
AG will probably only hit 10K after a large amount of waste matter has hit a nice big fan or if 99% of the above ground silver vanishes
Yup, that's what I reckon too. I doubt my stack will allow that sort of lifestyle in a non-SHTF scenario...
I see most of you said you'd put about half back into gold... I'm not sure what other things would cost in fiat dollars by the time silver hit $10 000/oz but assuming that shares and property were relatively cheap (compared to silver) i'd be putting everything into property and shares... the thing is that if silver has reached a point where its overvalued then its going to be highly likely that gold will also be overvalued, so moving from silver into gold would probably not be the most prudent move to make at that point. just my humble opinion ;p
I would buy the Opera House and invite Russel over for a BBQ. We would have a game of cricket in the back yard after I hire the Ozzie cricket team vs his Rabbitohs team. Then we would go sailing on my new yacht with Hugh Jackman doing a song and dance on the bow and of course a dozen swimsuit models handing out drinks It would be the New Australia's Day......
I would go buy alot of guns and ammunition, as by the time that this happens, I assume society would have decended into anarchy
I would work to make the world a more compassionate and peaceful place, save starving african babies and paint the wings of moths more beautiful so that they get treated the same as butterflies. Sorry........... having one of my "I'm a Miss Universe contestant" fantasies again.
