Too true, I got caught up in the hype when things hit $34ish per ounce and bought up, have only been tracking silver since late last year.
^^^ Below Spot = the only legitimate 'lowballing'. The world would not be what it is today if it were NOT for the exploitation of weaker souls. Guess what? We are all exploited and suckers, you suckers (not me cause I'm in denial).
Replacement capsules. Pack them as best you can but stuff still happens. F2F is the only way i reckon. I'm burnt by the experience but glad that i had these around to assist when required. Much better than saving in cash.
Bummer, I wanted more of the goodies you had for sale. Sorry to hear that you had a bad time selling. Certainly your experiences has given me something to think about. I do hope that you get back on an even keel. FWIW I'm very happy with the coins I bought off you, very happy with how they were packed and very happy with the price which was, IMHO, fair to us both EDIT TO CLARIFY This post was created on my (not-so)Smart Phone and the battery was seriously dying
Geez i'm being a real whinger here but the issue was, i suppose, not that i had a bad time selling it's just that i was extremely disappointed that many PM's, mainly from newer members, were extremely blunt with no hello and just a demand that i accept their offer for x, y and z items. I said no to a few people and told others that a hello might have been nice. Often a nicer PM was returned once my response was read and all was good. My selling lessons: 1. don't list everything you want to sell at once in multiple threads as it could get confusing tracking the status of the discussions. 2. determine properly the postage costs and not just rely on the Aust Post website 3. determine if you are going to accept overseas orders and hence paypal etc (i never use it but have to now) 4. closely examine your items to ensure they are listed correctly (of course) 5. ignore twits on other listings whinging about this and that but... 6. keep an eye on spot and what you are willing to sell for. If it moves too far and your item is clearly overpriced then withdraw the item or drop the price (over bumping can be annoying) 7. be nice Otherwise i'm glad that it is all over. Many thanks
Napthalene I made an offer for your 5 ounce bars and you said you'd wait til you got home and get back to me, but didnt. Its no big deal, but it goes both ways. I had to wait for a yes or no from you before reallocating my spending money. I ended up buying round 50 cent pieces the next day.
