Hello, I have just made my first silver purchase. I bought 1 Maple Leaf from W. Davis for $38 and a Liberty from ABC for $42. I forgot to get a receipt from W. Davis. I have limited funds and would appreciate any advice. Cheers
Good work! For future purchases I can recommend Canadian wildlife series cougar or moose http://www.bullionbourse.com/#ecwid:category=584918&mode=product&product=9297930 http://www.bullionbourse.com/#ecwid:category=584918&mode=product&product=6666855
You don't really need a receipt - unless you need to be able to prove you didn't steal it! You were within 10m of the Gold Stackers office as part of that shopping trip
Great info, thanks goldpelican for the effort of putting that info together! Has certainly helped a noob like me to have a bit more direction of how I want go about my silver stacking.
Trying to find the price of 10 ounce silver eagles here in Aus., anyone know or is there another section as I am a newbie to this site.

Trying to track down a post on gradings of USA coins...You could compare your own USA coin to other like coins with their gradings beside them. Anyone got any clues? Was posted at least a year ago. Hoping that someone may be able to help. Regards Errol 43
Missed this post, sorry Errol - was this was what you were thinking of ?? And if you've got one, there's an iPhone app.
Thank you for a very informative report, I bought silver American Eagles from Goldsilver.com, and thought that they were stored in Salt Lake City but found out they had lost them, they are replacing them, slowly, I want to bring them to Australia, for security, is this advisable, or are they better off in the vaults at Salt Lake city, and what are the procedures to bring them into this country? Cheers, Tabbitt.
As the saying goes "If you can't hold it, You don't own it" As legit as as some of these companies may seam, there is still counter party risk that they are holding your metal. Why not take delivery of your metal for the peace of mind you can put your hands on it if something tragic happens. Just my opinion. SS77
