    Perhaps the labour unions in Germany have more influence over GM manufacturing decisions than those in Australia. Does that mean that the German taxpayer will be subsidising the production costs of Holden cars?

    I thought wages were high in Germany. Maybe the robots work faster. : )

    Do ze germans make Opel cars? They're basically the equivalent to Holdens aren't they?

    yep same parent company just gave different name except in the case of "astra", there was a Holden and Opel astra
