Or just get a boiled egg and seal it in an airtight bag with your un-encapsulated coin, should save a bit of time :)

I love tigers and dragons (probably little less than tigers), but nothing can beat nice woman on the coin. ;) That's why I think I would prefer to buy Libertads. :)

I have bough my first kilo coin last week : $100 Niue Steamboat Willie
It was not cheap but it will be the star of my silver coin collection, now we have to wait a few weeks before I can take a picture of it !!

    Didn't even know they existed..

    You're right: Not cheap!

    Sure it's worth it, though.

    Oh, my- HOLY POOP!!

This coin is awesome! Very, very happy I got it.. :D

It's one thing to see photos & videos of such pieces, but it's quite another to hold your very own in your hand.

    Wow..

If spot allows, this will not be my last kilo coin!

P.S. I still think certain kilo bars are mad sexy, too.. ;)

    Congratulations! You need more :)

I'm trying to think what would be my favourite kilo coin. The Aztec is awesome but I don't have one. I also really love the 2015 coloured goat kilo, but no way on Earth will I pay over $1500 for it. I'll have to settle for a 1/2 ounce on that one.

I quite like the 2013 Kilo Kooks (except maybe for the eyes). I finally got a couple of those recently thanks to other stackers.

So what's next on your kilo coin wish-list

Thanks, I do need more. :D

Hard to say which one will be next. Really trying to stay away from past ones, for a variety of reasons.. one of them being price.

I've always liked the '13 Snake. Though I also want to try to mix 'em up, country-wise. Curious to see what the '16 Monkey will be like.

My 1st choice is a '15 Libertad BU. Are you listening, Banco de Mexico??

If I get too antsy, I suppose I'd do a '12 or something. Though the price has climbed a bit on that. Maybe if spot got whacked a little more.

There are a couple others as a possibility, though I know the smaller versions of those can have milk-spot issues.

Then again, look what can happen to Perth kilo's.

I'd also be all over an ASE kilo.. :D

Wow! Not for me (or my wallet), but still pretty cool.

    Some people got money, eh?

I knew of bars, but didn't realize there were Au kilo coins out there, too..

Here's what you have in store for you.

Had to yank the little guy out of storage, just to compare.

So is it on its way or in your hand?

    Thread topic vs body text

I was referring to your 1st post - ie - you wrote the title and first post at the same time to have it shipped and collected and unpacked LOL) (No time lag there - certainly not enough

.. you say "its on its way"and then you describe how good it is in hand - i don't see a time sufficient time lag here.. its cool.. i dont need to understand.. its just i question things when they don't seem right to me logically (chronologically)

I placed the order almost 3 weeks ago, prior to starting this thread.

As soon as you hit that "Submit Order" button, the clock begins to tick, with the sequence now in motion. It cannot be stopped. Nobody can order that 1 coin from the dealer; inventory immediately drops by 1. At that point, my kilo is on its way, as far as I'm concerned.

Since it was part of a pre-order, awaiting on another coin to qualify for free shipping, it didn't physically ship until a few days ago, even though the order was placed much earlier.

    Just got the package today.

The logic makes sense. Maybe you need to expand your seemingly narrow band of logic?

Anyway, you're harshing my mellow, man.. :(

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to gaze at my Kookilo some more -- you know, to put me right again.. :p
