I have some of these 'Emirates Gold' silver bars in 500g and 1kg.

If I was to bring them back to Aus, would they be easy to sell when the time comes?
I have not seen any sold on the bay so I assume they are not common outside of the UAE. Would there be any premium for this bar due to it's relative rarity, or would it be discounted since it is not a recognisable brand?
My other option would be to trade for brand name gold bars (pamp) when I want to bring my stack home.

I'm interested to know any of your comments.

Never heard of them. Willing to give them a go but would not pay a premium for these.

If you could swap for PAMP, you would get a premium for PAMP here. Interesting bars though.

Looks nice, so I don't see any problem being able to sell them. You might not get a premium for them though (unless Aurora et Luna is low on stock).

Better than ABC bars, should command a premium of at least a Perth Mint bar or Pamp.
    Due to its rarity.
dont swap for ABC bars thats for sure

    :)

Anyone here can buy any kilo bars without premium?
Number of places selling PAMP bars around $40 over spot.
So what is that big deal about PAMP or PM bars then?

Never heard or seen these bars before. Spot is the maximum I would pay if they were kosher
I would rather have Mpowerin ugly bar if I can get it for spot. :)

Dont give it for spot !?

If you decide to sell it ask for a 1 oz premium at least til it sells.

its rare and no one has it - the UAE eagle is there, the serial number is there, purity and weight is there - all is there - 1 oz premium !!

Lets be realistic, a Pamp or Perth Mint bar will fetch a 1oz premium but an obscure brand no matter how pretty, that 99% of stackers has never sighted, I don't think so.
It would be lucky not to be cored before someone buys it.

OK, I would pay that. They would pay a premium for 100mms there as well.
But we have a more discerning crowd here.

Im just saying that 1 kg UAE silver bar can be sold for 1 oz premium not to the average stacker, but out of 1000+ members at least one would pay that premium.

They are applying for LBMA status as a refinery, and they do have a good sales presence in Europe, as opposed to the other refiners. Apmex also sell them if they have stock. So I would not worry much.

Thanks for all your comments. Very useful.

We don't really have much choice in regard to silver here, so I figured silver was silver and the premium on these is OK. I have not tried to sell them back to the dealer yet so not sure what the spread would be. Anyway, I'm not planning to sell any time soon, but I may try to transfer some of my stack back to Australia so it is useful to know how easy it would be to sell.

I have seen a couple listed on ebay but not at market price so they didn't sell. I also saw some on a European online site where that had these poured bars and also some minted bars, but I have not seen the minted bars here.
