    Hi guys,

Here's a little video I made on Saturday. Found the footage online and it blew my mind, the audio was crap so I added some suitable thimping revolutionary music and cut the clip back to candy coat the revolution. please facebook it if you like, it's getting a good response so far.

    Thanks!

    Dan

Fantastic clip. I hadn't seen this one before and the music selection couldn't have been better Dan.

    Big thumbs up.

I am so glad I left Egypt mid January. Even then i was sensing all was not well in Cairo.

Lets just hope the overthrow of one dictator doesnt result in a worse one coming to power.

    Really nice editing.

There are some comments on the YouTube page about how powerful the images are of people getting hit with the water cannons as they're praying which I completely agree with.

I should also say how nice it was to see the Egyptian military conduct themselves so professionally during the whole series of events. Mass protests like that too often turn into bloodbaths when the military starts getting involved. Lets hope they follow through on it now that Mubarak has stepped down.

I thought that Egypt would have been better if Sulaiman or even Mubarak had of retained office until a replacement was appointed. Now multiple parties from the Military hold the power. Not sure if it is over yet. At least it is less likely to suffer a military coup now.

Politics isnt my game but too many chiefs doesnt work real well in any situation.

I just pity the Egyptian who thinks that he is free now.

Wonder how close this news aligns with the pullback in PM prices.

I dont think the person with that sign should have crossed out ak47 and machete. they should have just added facebook twitter.

Every Man Should Have A Rifle

So I sit and write and ponder, while the house is deaf and dumb,
Seeing visions "over yonder" of the war I know must come.
In the corner - not a vision - but a sign for coming days
Stand a box of ammunition and a rifle in green baize.
And in this, the living present, let the word go through the land,
Every tradesman, clerk and peasant should have these two things at hand.

No - no ranting song is needed, and no meeting, flag or fuss -
In the future, still unheeded, shall the spirit come to us!
Without feathers, drum or riot on the day that is to be,
We shall march down, very quiet, to our stations by the sea.
While the bitter parties stifle every voice that warns of war,
Every man should own a rifle and have cartridges in store!

    Out with the old.

    In with the new.

    Better the devil you know.

Than the devil who is new.

    A people uprising is powerful.

But the powerful people behind the scenes.

Are the ones who are unseen.

    The game is only starting.

    May the best team win.

Why? They managed to oust their despotic leader quite efficiently without descending into civil war.
