Hey guys.. I guess we are all excited bout the upcoming release in September of the lunar Dragons.. When do we get a preview of the designs for not only the lunars, but the following years designs - ie kooks and koalas as well?

Didn't like series I lunar series... second series has a lot more detail and seemed much more thought out, and isn't just an animal on a pretty plain backdrop.

here's something I was reading on a forum the other night, but don't have the knowledge to confirm or deny. All series 2 have 2 animals on the coins (with the exception of the tiger, apparently there can only be one tiger on a mountain - old chinese saying), so we'll have 2 dragons. Can there be more than one dragon on his hoard in the Lonely mountain?

Just saw hobo's post above, thanks, I should read all the posts before jumping in

Well here is something to think about.

One guy asked me, regarding the animals in the lunar series.

If all the animals on the coins exist in real life to this day.

ie: a pig represents a pig. monkey represents a monkey. etc...

Where did the Dragon come from? What animal did it originate from?

Why is it so popular today when it doesn't exist and the rest of the lunar calender is represented by animals?
