Don't forget the ATO supervisor levy for SMSF, currently $150, possibly going up to $180. Payable in October every year. Not included in the $699 esuperfund fee.

So if you setup now your first fee will be $150 in october 2011, $150-$180 in oct 2012, then $699 on Jan 1 2013 etc

    Hi thatguy

    You did ask
I don't think you got a reply to this particular question.

The answer is that you could have your wife and your sister as members of your SMSF super fund with either arrangement (either individual or corporate).
However, if one of you is going to be the driving force behind the fund you will probably find it much easier to use a corporate trustee.
This is because each member of the fund must be a trustee (or in the case of a corporate trustee, must be a director of the company).
And each asset must be held by the trustees (or in the case of a corporate trustee, by the company).
So with three members and individual trustees, each asset of the fund would have to be in the joint names of the three members.
This might be ok for your plans, but you might find it becomes cumbersome compared with the corporate trustee route.
