Canadian Silver Bullion Coins - good buy?

    Buy Maples instead of bars or rounds.

    Maple is 9999 pure and one of the cheapest bullion coins.
    Not particularly stunning and often marked, chipped or stained - not always though.
    Treat them as currency i.e stack of silver by weight and easy to shift.

    They are best bought as a tube of 25.

    Collect the wildlife series for posterity - issued so far the Wolf, Grizzly and about now the Cougar.
    Buy each issue to form a set in time and perhaps they will become attractive to collectors in a few years.

    Reckon you are in a winning position.
    Customs will definitely be watching out for you now.
    If passing through the UK en route I could perhaps save you carrying all that stuff round the world if the price was right.
