I'm starting to get itchy feet and want to purchase more bullion... I've been holding off with gold hitting new highs, nobody wants to buy at the top... What's your take? Wait for a dip or buy now?

As the old saying goes, buy your gold in August.

No one can say for certain where the gold price is going from here, so hard to tell.
Personally, I think there is more potential to the upside than to the downside.
Having said that, I would caution not to go all-in at these prices.
Intelligent stacking is all about going about you accumulating in an orderly long term way,
and averaging out your precious metal purchases.

I bought an oz (to satisfy the itch) 2 weeks ago at around $1415, not much different from today's price. It hasn't really moved much since early July. I've been waiting for the drop in gold and neglected silver!!

There's talk that gold may fall a little just before the Fed meeting. But who knows?

If holding for long long term any time is good to buy.

Honestly, prob just a few more ounces... I seriously need to diversify my investments more, but I love the shiny stuff too much.

I think I might grab an ounce or two and hope the itch wears off...

My love for silver as an investment is wearing off... I have been thinking of shifting my silver to gold but need to do more research.

Better to buy gold than silver. Almost always.

I went through a gold buying phase 8 or 9 years ago. No more since then. But I started buying again about 2 months ago. I think its a good time to buy when interest rates are so low and the RBA is considering debasing the currency. I have to admit I find it hard to sell. Actually I never have.

Buy gold. Despite the US is humming along because of Trump’s policies. All is no good in Eurasia. I have a feeling something big coming within next couple of months.

Trumps policies are the same as the last guy, print print print.
Except now the Republicans love the spending and all the fiscal irresponsibility.
Debt and printing presses are the only things humming around here and its the only way to keep it all going.

Don’t know about what Republicans spend on but not all spending is the same, just like spending on silver and a security system is different from spending on cigarettes and booze.
