Been very quiet of late, been organising/ getting sorted for going away. I'm off back to the yUK in on the 19th...

If anyone fancies something before then... Let me know and I'll organise a venue for this next weekend?

Better get in early befor all the silver is gone, you will recognise me, I will be the guy telling my wife that I will be in and out in a few minutes, max! She will be the bored looking one outside nursing a cold coffee with about five empty cups in front of her.

I remember you from Blackbelt and Greenchip in the 90's; were you a COG counter or tracker/sequencer?

I did a bit of everything, but I think only 3 Australians were on Greenchip as they were invitation with 2 existing members reference only. You must be one of them.
That was on Arnold Snyder's site

 

Greenchip was Wong's site, anyone with the membership fee could join. Greenbelt was Snyder's reference only board.

I know of at least two other Australian members of Greenbelt, they never, ever posted, one is now in the BHF, did you know Z?

I played in SK in the good days, very little in Aus.

You are correct Greenbelt it was, but I retired more than 10 years ago so not followed them closely after that, so a bit rusty on the site names. Never seen or met any of the other Australians personally from Greenbelt, but seen few familiar faces from Australia in Vegas regularly. I think they did the ace tracking in Melbourne Crown Casino that made a big sorry in our local media. Nice job it was. Congratulations if any of them see this.

I'm in for a meet as well, and I'll be bringing my silver newbieness with me. The 22nd seems to be the only firm-ish date so far, but am pretty flexible.

 

Just thought i would bump it up above the 'dont meet' thread as it looks like we 'do meet' this sunday.

So this sunday at west end sounds like a goer. I'll be there. Anyone got anything interesting to trade?
Or what are others looking for?

Silver and gold are down so I won't be looking to sell anything, now is buying season!

 

I might have some stuff for sale IF I can manage to get up Gympie way to the old girls property beforehand to retrieve it.... if not I will still come along for shits and giggles all the same.

 

I might be able to help, why don't you just give me the address and tell me where it is stored and what time she goes out and I'll....bring it to the meeting for you...
