So where to from here? Retest $270 highs or consolidate around $220? Drop back to its 30 day moving average around $135?

RE: How to trade it ... Get BTC - then load it into your favourite Crypto exchange.. btc-e is a goody

RE: Silver Pauper ... Get a BTC wallet.. Then find someone to by them off .. give them your address and you get the BTC... (this is the paypal equivalent use).

Mining is the complicated part and probably not worthwhile now days with high electricity costs and asic miners combined with increasing difficulties.

I heard it was the silk-road drug lords spiking the price up so they could sell-up at top prices - made sense at the time but lord knows how any of us would verify..

I picked the bottom perfectly both times over the weekend but failed to see the top so sold pre-maturely at $172 or so at btc-e.com which has usually $20 lower price per BTC compared to mt.gox, still keeping fiat waiting for a nice pull-back to get more BTC.. i have lost around 5 btc with CHN and FTC combined..

Lots of fun when im waiting for the PM purchases to start paying off, most of my BTC were purchased in the $10 range so i feel a little reckless and high risk with them.. its awesome.

I think activity in this thread is a direct image of the bitcoin market. When it goes up, there is a flood of posts, when it's flat, so are the posts. :)

I want to make an outlandish claim that is based on nothing. That it will pull back at $470US this time round.

We will be very happy together Will. I might just sell out and buy the expensive fish tank I have been looking at. If I sell and get something I can see everyday and appreciate it wont make me feel so bad if litecoin keeps going up.

Not sure if you are aware, but the LTC creator and the CEO of BTC China are brothers....

Also, rumour has it SR 2.0 will be P2P and may not necessarily be BTC based, my bet would be LTC or XPM if not.

75 man I didn't log in for months and have 4 times that there. Was a little worried when I didn't get my password right the first time that some Russian took it all.

Do you guys ever think that gold and silver are not taking off, because all the cool young people rather buy bit coins, rather than some old silver or gold coins like grandad (also including not buying ETFs; paper gold and silver?

New all-time high in CNY tonight on BTCChina - higher than the Oct 22 peak, and much higher volume than MtGox today. China's driving the price at the moment it would seem.

Now if only they'd do the same bloody thing to gold
