Just put in my set&forget sell order at $258 USD (equivalent). If it goes overnight, yay, if not, will wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Seems to be stuck on $228-230 for a while though - could be a lot of people are using $230 as a profit-taking level.

I'm watching the 15m charts like a hawk and $235 is the issue...if it clears that and then $240 could be game on for a new all time high.

I just dumped 25 BTC at $198 USD elsewhere - there was no telling when that was stopping!

Sorry to break the rhythm of this thread... but after reading many of the 87 pages of this thread, plus other threads on Bitcoin and various websites, I still have no clue how to use Bitcoins or even own any.

Could someone post a simple how-to or tutorial how to buy, sell and own Bitcoins including the software or apps needed for PC, MAC, Android and iOS.

I have known about Bitcoin since the early days and looked at using it as an alternative to Paypal for online transactions, but I ended up putting in the too hard basket. In hindsight I should have persisted since at that time Bitcoins were about $3 from memory.

Unfortunately this Luddite still has not been able to figure out how to use Bitcoins and it seems to become only more and more complicated as the currency matures. So just a simple shove in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Someone just broke it again.

Lots of arbitrage opportunities - if the network will confirm transfers in a timely fashion!

I'm rebuying $180 Gox and just got my BTC-E filled at $166.

If you're in it to make BTC not fiat its a fun game right now!

Good luck there with BTC, move to XPM trading if you want to play arbs with fast confirms.

I spent nearly two days of spare time trying to figure this thing out and either I just a complete idiot(highly possible) or this is over complicated. I can code HTML, CSS, and PHP, but I have not been able to get a handle on how Bitcoins work. I even got my son who is a computer geek to help me and after a few hours told me he could not be bothered.

I googled myself silly, visited a dozen or so Bitcoins site, then there is Litecoins as well... would be nice if someone would do a Bitcoins for Dummies for the forum... just asking...

Crazy inconsistencies between the markets - crashing on mtgox, yet someone bought $100k+ at $254 AUD on BTCmarkets. Guess they weren't watching the other charts :/
