With that low $$$ involved, I don't think there will ever be an arrest warrant... but yes, get him before he leaves our shores.
You can get an arrest warrant for stealing $1 if there's a reasonable case. It has nothing to do with the amount.
If you robbed someone using a weapon, even for $1. There would be an arrest warrant taken out for you. No lawyer fees needed. Likewise, fraud is also a criminal matter. Fair trading handles civil/business disputes, not criminal.
Depending on the circumstances ... fraud is not necessarily a criminal matter ... it varies from state to state ... ridiculous ... but so is the law .... http://www.alfalaw.com.au/taking-civil-action-in-fraud/
This is just formality mate... but reality differs.... I urge you to go up to copper branch and tell them that someone from Redfern has conned you $1AUD.. see if copper will ask you to do paperwork...I had a hit with someone who had no driver's licence and copper just said "meh..."
Hey mate, Have you ever tried to REVERSE any transaction? because my bank isn't that easy to ask for any REVERSE expecially when you did the actual transaction via internet banking... unless you have proof and police log that there was a fraudulent matter to that account.. then it may take time for the bank to get the REVERSE... if any money left in that account.
the "hacker" has been busy....using that "stolen" laptop.... http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-71737-for-sale-silver-at-spot.html
A couple things still seem strange to me? 1.) Who was the account holder that slavaja transfered too, to me that would be easy to find out through bank records and it would answer a lot of questions. 2.) Why has Goldenjosh88 not come on the forum with a new account and explain what happened to his account/laptop, perhaps even with details of the theft and a police report number. I don't think it's right to splash the personal details of Goldenjosh88 on the public thread even at this point but I'm sure members could now PM slavaja some more details of who Goldenjosh8 really is if they know so that slavaja can make a proper attempt to contact and/or bring a civil action against him directy, if nothing else than to find out the truth to what has transpired. Just my 2 cents anyway
That was my post. I happen to have sold some stuff to slavaja, haven't heard from him since, i trust everything went well? Anyways im sorry to hear about this
