"INVESTORS TARGET KOALAS AFTER KOOKABURRA SALES SUCCESS
The 2013 Australian Kookaburra 1oz silver bullion coin is no longer available from The Perth Mint.

The revised maximum mintage of 500,000 coins was reached last week and no further 2013-dated 1oz Kookaburras will be manufactured.

Investors looking for the convenience of a 1oz coin are now targeting the unlimited 1oz 2013 Australian Koala. Featuring an outstanding design of a koala in the fork of a tree, it is identical in all other respects to the Kookaburra. " Perth Mint Bullion Issue 37

I wouldnt be surprised if the Perth Mint registered itself as a political party with all the policy flip-flops and back-flips its doing.

I have no faith in their mintages hence I stopped buying their products in 2012 and have been a net seller of all things Perth Mint since then.

I am slowly unwinding my Perth Mint products and will look to top up in other investments. The risk to the value of Perth Mint products is too great due to their actions over the last 18 months.
