    Ditto

I'm opting for smaller denominations now

I Stocked up with bars when the price was $18-$25

Time to get my fare share of 1/oz and Pre/Post coins now

People talk about exit strategy.. exit into what, I pose? All about the GSR.... wait for GSR to turn to dust and convert oz'es to GOLD, baby! GOLD! Gold ain't going anywhere..and silver's volatility at high prices can be negated by converting ITs value into the solidity of gold..at least you know it's of actual value and its not sitting in fiat.

Gold and silver is all you need ------ silver for climbing gold for stability. PM 101.

..be nice if real estate turns to crap juuuust as I start converting silver ounces to gold ounces. Then bypass re agents and pay for houses in GOLD. hahahahah *evil laughs*

Peace guys.. $35.50 ... shit. I would be more than thrilled with $47 by years end. Who knows, though! Now..it doesn't seem so far away.

I've been offline for a while now...last time I was posting, silver was flirting with $30...

I started to convert cash savings and all superannuation into gold and silver this time last year (why so late? I didn't know about gold and silver before then as an investment option).

I haven't been buying much lately with exception of converting quarterly 9% super contributions to silver...my SMSF returns have been just beautiful! :):):):):):):)

I'm thinking of maybe starting to buy gold for super now rather than silver.

    GSR: 40.17.

And what is it that makes gold better?

Is there not less silver available above ground than gold?

Isn't silver a consumable precious metal, thus getting scarcer?

    Who's to say that the gold:silver ratio won't flip...permanently?

    Well done.

    A good plan......for now.

Just don't be left with all your eggs in the PM basket when the bottom falls out of it. Not saying it will happen soon, but like everything else, it will happen.

    In the meantime, enjoy!

You said it in one. There is less silver above ground than gold. Key words, above ground.

If silver starts to hit 3 digits, or even 4 digits, rest assured there will be silver mines opening up everywhere. The Ratio of gold to silver in the ground is 16:1. If silver ever exceeds this, I feel it will be temporary only. But temporary could be a few years who knows?

It won't happen overnight, but it will happen

Forget the $36 thread. At this rate we'll be in the $40 thread before the day is over.

    Most definitely :D

I can't believe that it's already up over 1% in the Asian markets. I won't be surprised if the price gets beat down hard tomorrow though.

I was about to buy this morning but got pulled into a meeting so had to hang up on the call. I called back 30mins later and my spot buy for 1kg went up $10. I was buying 6 bars so that sucked.

Then again all the bars i already own just went up :)
