as much as we are thankful for the past, all we see now is an ocean of lies, an extreme loss of leadership and power to corporations, who care nothing for people, for ethics makes them no money it is utterly despicable the us is doomed until enough of its citizenship finds its moral bearings to think, all of those lives sacrificed, for this? or more pertinently, for who... geez
Yes, the greatest nation on Earth, the nation that pioneered or developed most of the freedoms that the West now enjoys (the trade unions, women's rights, abolition of slavery, consumer advocacy, free speech), the nation that built the Saturn V, the interstate system, Manhattan, the Hoover dam, the space shuttle and so many other things has been set up and thrown under the bus by a few very dark men and women. First they took your health by debasing your food, then they took your minds with television, then they took your sons with war adventures all over the globe, then they claimed your hard work and wealth by handing the government into the hands of corporations and establishing a vampiric banking system. The White house is utterly and completely owned by bankers. This is where America stands now. Where it is going is in the balance, unless you act as a nation and drag yourselves to your feet soon you will reach the point where you can no longer stand up at all, and the jackals will have you.
The lessons to be learned from America's history is their greatest asset to the rest of the world i believe. It shows unequivocally how a country where individual freedoms enjoyed by its citizens were the envy of every human being on this planet and the associated free markets which evolved into the greatest economy in the world have slowly been destroyed by government intervention in the lives of its citizens and the economy. This "zombification" of America should act as a stark warning to us here in Its Different Land, where the nanny state mentality reigns supreme ... Big government NEVER ends well! It's f...ed up the greatest nation on earth! Look and LEARN from it ...
YES we most certainly do - of that you can be sure! Tibet is merely an appetiser mate. And dont worry - you WILL SEE China taking over countries aggressively within our lifetimes...
+1. China isn't new to taking over countries, they're just setting themselves up properly economy-wise and so on before doing it imo.
