I am not sure where you see this "bullish uptrend". What I see is multiple crypto price paths bending downwards:
Ethereum, Ravencoin, BitTorrent, Stellar, Cardano, but Bitcoin too are looking like they are slipping downwards...

From my angle, it looks like bearish environment and it's a bout time we see a major correction (massive buying opportunity).

Hey @l***g, old mate, I think you have me mistaken for one of your other pet hates @JOHNLGALT.:p

I can assure you I am not him.:D

And I am not totally against chemical castration either, (if it helps some not to pass on their defective genes on to future generations).

    Hooroo;)

AUSSIE COSSACK, Riccardo Bosi, etc. in the Australia One Party are the quickest growing party in OZ., so, there is hope for us so long as 'DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS' don't do to us what they did to the SLEEPING YANKS with all of their GUNS.

I'm just talking about the charts showing an uptrend daily monthly yearly whatever.
It's possible it will have a good pullback eventually but who really knows.

I can't rule on defamation, only a court can.

I can rule on abuse, this spar between the 2 members in question is not abuse.

I don't get any notifications when members report posts. :)

I think the crypto bubble can also lead to a tremendous collapse, just like the dotcom bubble burst. Just like any other financial/monetary crisis, this can happen too.

So, people who believe in cryptos that exist today are exposing themselves to a tremendous risk, EVEN if that particular crypto (usually BTC or ETH) keeps rising for a longer period of time.

It's not volatility that's key here, it's called INSTABILITY. Cryptos are UNSTABLE assets.

It is not rocket science with the cryptos, lads.

Be stupid enough to purchase near the top, and you risk losing half your money or more when they inevitably tank.

Purchase when they have crashed and you could double your money or more (if you are lucky).

look at the foundations, first USD is backed by GOLD, then removed that, then cryptos is USD + chains...then USD collapsed due to sanctions and avoidance of secondary sanctions. people transacts in crypto world. when they go back trading in GOLD again... the rest is forgotten history his-story.

double the money in gold/silver is much easier, just do almost nothing, as time passed there you have it
but cryptos is for people to make 10 X. 100 X... 1,000,000 X kind of multiplier

if you only have 1 grand, then want to make 100,000 grand is very unlikely with gold or many king of assets, except cryptos
just like to win toto/lotto :D

This is not sustainable: "Bitcoin craze robs Kazakhstan of electricity"
    https://www.rt.com/russia/539874-kazakhstan-face-electricity-shortage/

"With Kazakhstan facing an electricity shortage caused by the sharp increase of cryptocurrency miners operating in the country, Nur-Sultan is now turning to its northern neighbor Russia to provide extra energy capacity.
Speaking last week, the director of Kazakhstan’s Electric Power Development Department revealed that state-owned energy company Samruk-Energo had entered into negotiations with Russian energy giant Inter RAO, with a view to creating a joint venture.

Aidos Daribayev also noted that during the first ten months of 2021, the country’s energy consumption increased by 8%. In previous years, the percentage growth tended to sit at around 1-2%.

According to the government, the power shortage is due to a sharp growth in cryptocurrency mining caused by China’s decision to ban the practice. Following the change in legislation, equipment used to mine digital assets like Bitcoin was moved across the border.

I think Bitcoin and the crypto market overall is preparing for a bear market.

This is exactly the moment when gold and silver start rising. Gold and crypto generally move against each other (opposite directions) and no, I am not saying always, but generally.
Gold and silver are going up, just check the charts. Bitcoin/Ethereum and all the rest are going down.

Some people are doubting the arrival of a bear market, but I don't think there is any asset that goes up forever. Not even oil, not even gold, so why should Bitcoin?

Permabulls in the crypto market like Michael Saylor are mirror images of Peter Schiff in the gold market.
The love their assets and they believe in them, they make countless strong points and they are right usually, but not always.

I think we will see even lower crypto prices soon.

not unless they can cut the power usage by 99% and increase their quantum speed by 1000 x
then the new cryptos created far exceed the exixting ones by many folds and then the prices would collapsed

The most devastating anti-crypto speeches delivered by Jim Rickards - and I think he might as well be right.
So, in the end, PM's will be kings?

Dollar appears to be firming up a little. Gold looks good now. AG still risky.
