The milk spots were included FREE But since these are actually in NGC's database as 2015 coins ( With pictures and cert numbers ) , and the Perth mint claimed the 2016's were the " First ever " of this type...and these are being sold stating limited mintage of 300,000 ( Also the cert from NGC states sealed box 1 and sealed box 2 ...with sealed box 1's selling for more than 2's ) these 2015's might turn out to be a pretty good buy.
Damn, I just checked the coins received at the official launch in August 2015 - they are 2016 dated. Those 2015s look like prototype dies.
I am not sure what's going on in terms of the 2015 dates ones, but I am onto it. I will keep you guys posted. P.S. I've purchased 5x NGC certified ones just in case.
haha Yeah, those milk spots are free and part of the old security features. None of the coins out of China have those milk spots.
Thanks. The link work for me. Here is a link to all the 2015 dated ones they offer: http://www.ebay.com/rpp/bulliondcp/2015-silver-australian-kangaroo/

This was the first year of issue for the Australian Kangaroo silver bullion program. Mintage was limited to just 300,000 coins and will be exclusively sold on eBay by Bay Precious Metals. Get your's today! " I noticed something just now, the 2015 dated coin is only 3 nines fine...the 2016 coin is 4 nines fine. So the 2015 dated coin IS the first of the new Kangaroo Silver Bullion series, but the 2016 is the first made from four nines fine silver. The Perth Mint's quote from their video below contradicts that , there is a clear period after " first Australian Kangaroo Silver Bullion Coin. " ....not a coma ....the 2016 from the start was marketed as the first coin from the new series....this 3 nines fine 2015 coin is actually the first. " The Perth Mint is pleased to present the first Australian Kangaroo Silver Bullion Coin. Struck from 1oz of 99.99% (four nines) silver in bullion quality, the 2016 coin features a classic design portraying a bounding red kangaroo. The new coin goes on sale on 21 September 2015.
