Depends, it's very likely that that single 1,4 Moz addition are the cummulative orders of those 2 weeks. In that case, it wouldnt have made a difference.
Does the US mint have more order restriction for silver eagles again? Because in the last 4 days there have only been 78,000 sales. Which seams a bit low when the average daily sales for the month was 265,000. Also The last update was on the 28th, then there has been no more sales for the 29th - 31st.
the did an extra 1,413,000 on the 30 as per my post above and they did another 78,000 on the last day I think.
Sales from the mint are currently on an allocation basis - so they would be throttling orders instead of just making it a free-for-all.
Na that was for the day of the 28th, but we didn't see the results until the 30th our time. The extra 78,000 was for either the 29th, 30th or 31st. So only 1 of the last 3 days they did sales.
well yes it would've been the 29th US time. edit they don't have updates every day whether that means there aren't sales I'm not sure but I wouldn't be worried about sales not been updated for a day or two.
I don't see what all the fuss is. ASEs are a retail product, and a shortage doesn't indicate a shortage of silver in general. It just means more people wanted to buy ASEs than the mint had bought blanks for.
They are not like other retail product, as eagle have to meet public demand by law. Sure there can be backlogs, but they cant stop taking orders, at least to my understanding. Public Law 99-61 "Liberty Coin Act"
Finally some silver talk in the silver section, not hi I'm new........which belongs in the hi I'm new section
8,936,500 for the two months so far. not bad considering they haven't been taken sales for a lot of that time.
Backed with what, physical silver? Ha-ha-ha. No amount of freshly created fiat is gonna help them if you ask for delivery.
& there lies the problem why would they ask for delivery they make too much money from it over & over again .
for a bit of good news. January and February combined sales are the best ever at 10,020,500 with still a week or so to go. Wonder if the drop in price will spark some buying?
