The gilded has a mintage of 50,000 and are usually the least popular among lunar variants. For flipping purchases in the long term, I'll go with high relief. my 2 cents, Revlisify
Didn't your mumma say not to put all your eggs in one basket? diversify she said....Youngan's these days Hmmm!
If you HAD to buy one, it would be the high relief. Gilded coins have been a flop no matter what the year.
I have purchased them because I think they look amazing, such a nice coin, and as mentioned they will continue this through the other lunars, and may end up as an 8 coin set.
I bought one & I don't like them ,so not buying anymore myself But the German coin fair black one is very nice ,the best out of all the dragons I believe
Pm answer to me: I was unaware there had been any further Dragon HR coins released but have been advised a dealer allocation had been reversed and placed online. These coins have now all sold. No further coins are available
not terribly popular these coins... can't seem to figure out why? 1 oz + dragon + silver + limited sounds like a winning combo to me?! Even got one in my personal collection. Oh well, maybe it being released just after the PM burnt a few potential customer with the Berlin privy fiasco coins cost it?
Think, if Perth Mint isn't releasing so many dragons of the same design in such short period of time. Just like feeding you the best vanilla ice-cream adding different colouring in such short period of time, no matter how much you love ice-cream, to a point you may feel numb or even sick of it. I think their way of merely changing the colour of the same design is just plain lazy :|
i think that's true and from what i am seeing the art work is going to have to come up a few notches or PM are going to get left behind people are getting sick of vanilla ice cream.
Agreed, just by comparing both Titanic coins (PM and NZM), I reckon the one from NZM is far better design Of course the white shark and koi are two recent winners too
