I wonder how many they have sold originally and how many are left of the 7,500.

I can't imagine this lot lasting too long.

That's the 1oz Dragon Proof, which is different from the High Relief Proof with 7500 mintage.

Now that would be determined, by the strategy of your investment! Short term $ no'...Longterm $$$'s Yes.

Dont waste your money. It's just more crud IMHO.

If there was that much interest in them they would of sold out by now.

I think it hard to say. Mintage is low and coin is beautiful. As least I think it will not resale for less than the website price. I got one too, thanks selfcentered.

At least this is a quality coin. Not a re-hash per se. I did pick a second one up, long term hold though.

    Thanks OP

I think the high relief coins will become a new collectible line - shame they didn't start them with the beginning of the Lunar series though, rather than part way through. I like the Kangaroos.

For what it's worth I'm giving the high relief the big miss. Any of these one off coins that cant be completed in a full series 2 set I'm letting go.

I think there might be a chance where older coins get retrospectively minted. Similar to how series 1 silver coins ended.
My recent query to Perth Mint yielded an reply from their Senior Customer Services Officer

Which loosely translates (to me), "We'll consider them if the interest is high".
