Yea well I did not know she had such a hoard until her friend showed up here and they started doing their nails ... I absolutely have to take a picture of this hoard as it would have to be seen to be believed ... it's boarderline rediculous but hey she doesn't hassle me so I ain't saying anything.

I have just heard something even more amazing ... she "claims" that such as pandas, some of these bottles of nail polish (yes I said nail polish) are actually "rare" such as pandas :D

Oh yea and she claims no color is identical

If you are interested, I'll have some spare 1999 Gilded panda MS69 in the next 2-3 weeks, they are still at NGC at the moment,
Status: Scheduled for Grading. it will be graded as PF (PF69/PF68..etc)

Yes. Its my first 68 (i buy it from comeaux) and when i recibe the coin. I ask comeaux the coin is very nice and shinny. And he say its a pcgs 69 crossover to ngc68. (how long ago you resend the coin to ngc?)

Just got the NCS/NGC grade on my GZ 2000 ... it came back as 68.
As anyone would be ... I am slightly disappointed as I thought the coin was phenomenal.

Don't know what's up with NGC as I also submitted some gold panda's and platinum and only one platinum graded PF69 out of these. They were all gorgeous in OMP. All the others were 68's (one 66 :( )

Of course as we all know grading is subjective and I/we cannot always get 69's but I'll admit I'm spoiled in this area :)

I still hold this coin in very high reverence and just knowing what yennus did to hustle it up for me adds to the story behind this coin to join the hundreds of other stories behind many coins that I can tell to Tinky when I pass these on to him.

Again ... thank you very much for getting this coin for me yennus and let me know if you come across with any more.

hello thor ... yes indeed this 1989 MS68 was in tremendous condition and has lots of luster as these 1989's can be prone to toning such as the 2001's & 2002's.

This coin was so fresh from NCS/NGC when you got it that it may have still be warm.

I had several 1989 MS68's and some I felt in better condition than others ... one had slight toning. It would have been just as easy for me to drop that coin in the box and send it to you but when I sell a coin I want my friends/members/buyers to feel like they got a good deal. I think that you did for that rock bottom price. You can easily see that there was no money made on that coin.

This coin in particular was one that was sent in with a batch of other PCGS MS69's that I submitted to NGC for crossover and requested that they crossover at NGC MS69 as well.

So what does NGC do? They promptly package them all up and sent them back to me denied of 69 grade ... yes these were all 69's.

I probably still have the original PCGS cert number for it and will dig it up and send to you for records ... I did send you the NCS paperwork so that it is verified NCS conserved.

    Enjoy my friend :)

I agree. Numerical grade is one thing, eye appeal is another thing. Then of course, price. Then the sentiment behind the coin. It all adds up. Then maybe NGC loosen their grading again, then today's MS68 become tomorrows MS70. Who knows?

Mostly I am into old coins, and MS65 is considered top grade for most.

    Will let you know :)

If GZ panda from Yennus came back as MS68, then I should be worried too
It's hard for Gilded panda to get 69 (0 Pop for 1999 PF70) especially now that NGC makes it harder to get a 69
