May I ask what was price you guys paid for GZ 2K Panda ? I am sure I will not be able to obtain one that low, but it will provide a comparison point for me. Thanks!

After close inspection of my GZ 2000 I think I will pull a "trump" card out and submit to NGC for a "re-grade" along with a few other coins I just recently got back from NGC.

Knowing that grading is subjective, I closely looked at this GZ2000 and a G25Y 1990 small date (both 68's), they both look very good to me. I'll admit I'm spoiled towards 69's but also I would not want an under or over graded coin as well so I think this re-grade is justified.

We will find out one of two things either I am going blind or I am a decent grader :)

Looking at these two coins in question I just have to send them back for regrades

I will post some pics up for public opinion, actually I'm going to post up a "gilt fest" of commemoratives in the next day or so it's going to be "colorful" :D

I have done the regrade, but not sure if it is the best way

I didn't crack my 1/10 oz frosted gold panda PCGS MS68,
I sent it to NCS as is(they cracked it for me), and in the end NGC grade this as MS69 :)

Hello jc888 ... I have cracked out PCGS, ICG & ANACS before sending to NGC. The ICG 70's (bought very cheaply) graded 69's

The only reason I cracked out the PCGS is they refuted my minimum grade of 69 in which that is what the current PCGS grade was, this was when there was a little "tiff" going on between the two companies so NGC returned all of the PCGS coins and then I cracked them all out and resubmitted ... very disappointed they all got a grade lower. I was kind of pissed really.

No I don't crack out the NGC coins though ...

This is only the second time I submit NGC coins for re-grade and I feel pretty good about it. I typed up a letter as well to describe the reasoning for each coin.

Now I just have to wait a few days to see if I made a good call or look like a doofus. :D

Oh and hey ... thor122 your coins are in "quality contol" as I just checked, I will send you the NGC screenshot.

So now they will soon go back to "scheduled for grading" one more time for a day then "finalized/imaged/shipped" so you should have your grades by either tomorrow or Monday.

Good luck on your GZ2000 and all others ... I'm anxious for you man ! :)
