It's a raer razor bar. Should demand a fine premium.

Plenty around. There are also plenty damaged bars around.
Specimen quality are sometimes hard to find.

    Nice example of Damaged Bar

Ted was once consider a damaged bar. Suppose to be Mel-TED ( Left bar compare to undamaged one right )
It is now a Trophy; "Mascot"

Yeah I understand that but I'm just suprised coming from the Royal Canadian Mint as the stuff they crank out is usually very well done.

Well chip say,s its not a error bar but it is! Quality control was lacking the day it went through given the pics!

The question is: So what? Its a 10oz RCM bar of silver and not a minted coin collector worthy so error is really the wrong word for this silver bar, crap quality control comes to mind which doesn't demand a higher premium or collector value to most but you have one of what many do not lol offer it to Chip for above value lol

But Chip this is a Minted bar not a miss stamped or damaged poured bar so the die was out, I suppose the real question is,is a minted bar that has been miss minted an error bar, is it un common , is it collectable like a miss minted coin? Or would RCM not worry about minted bars like they would coins and let them through quality control as is? Could this be one of very few or the only one?

Maybe this is just an unfinished bar? I say that because the RCM 10'a have a bit of a rolled edge on the bottom right corner which is absent aswell from the bar. here is an example of the rolled edge which matches my other bars .....Maybe it somehow skipped that process? http://imgur.com/ZmjSV0t

Yes a skipped proses by a mint employee is what a Perth mint 10 oz poured bar is deemed rare for! Why not a 10 oz RCM minted bar?
