I think it will be a gold backed blockchain. Not like the olden days when you could exchange your note for gold.
That Audit the fed bill also calls for regular audits there after.

when other people are settling trade with gold trade notes (convertible), anything lesser than gold is no good
it cannot buy anything with gold back counter-parties

If it is backed by gold that US gov holds that gets audited every 2 years. I think people would accept that.
What other people do you mean using money convertible to gold?
 
deliverable gold would be on similar footing, when trading net basis settled in gold bars etc
gold back had failed before, else it would not have failed
 
There will be a gold backed version of the usd in the future. It will be called Libra, issued by Mark Zuckerberg bank.
 
Before anything is gold backed we need to default on our debt worldwide and go through a major crash of everything, possibly a civil war of some sort. At least skirmishes in some areas for sure.
Not to mention the millions that would get cut off welfare, disability and the millions of govt jobs that would need to go.
It's not possible to back this fiat with gold without major pain.
 
The U.S. Defaulted in 1971, on their promise to pay one ounce of Gold for every $35 they printed. They cheated the world with the printing presses running flat stick (like they are doing now).
They cannot be TRUSTed with the Reserve currency, so it is time for the EAST to take the Reserve mantle away with an Eastern Gold, or, Gold backed currency. There should be no leeway this time, it is time to pay the Piper. Taking a big piece of humble pie. RANT OFF. (two strikes & you're out). _JOHNLGALT.
 
When it's exposed that the people who the worlds debt is owned are part of an ancient bloodline cult that has been manipulating the world for thousands of years. I think most people will be cool with hanging them in the street and forgetting about the debt.

there is no need to cut the welfare, just cut the millions
in debt = current status as slaves, so the owner can decide which one to chop
the owner can hire guns, so there would be plenty of volunteers and redeemers

Gold will never be dead as an investment in the world as we know it today,but Silver will always be well Silver,and plenty of people are dumping it here in the past month by the bucket loads.

Yes silver is "an investment today" but how good of an investment only time will tell.

In view of the crazy bad sentiment for silver, I’m surprised that the price hasn’t fallen more. This proves that smart money is quietly accumulating physical silver.
 
Well wait and see. I'm awfully confident, but I might be wrong, there's more than enough evidence suggesting it's on the way.

I called Trump winning the last election and made a bet with someone on here, won 10oz of silver. :D
I'd make a bet with someone for 2020, but I really doubt anyone here would be stupid enough to think he'll lose. lol
