Cause I'm an Aussie
Cause I pay for my groceries in AUD
my petrol
my house
my gas, electric, water, council etc
my beer
my gold and silver
etc etc etc are all paid for in AUD
Why I buy gold and silver? To speculate that I might get more AUD in the future and fund my lifestyle. I also like the look of bullion but that's secondary to cashing in at a future time.

Sorry to hog the thread, but when I see Down-under that the price(?) of gold or silver has gone up or down, I have to get out of bed and check the Height, & do an inventory (under the mattress) before I can go back to sleep.
