There were 2x2oz yps arrowheads and a 38g .38 pistol sold at todays Melb meet. Nice things but I got outbid. I like his stuff but only own a couple of his earlier bars.
I'd have to dig up my treasure chest so I could take photos of my 10-oz Skull. Maybe next time if I remember. Yes, it's a cool piece, and I'm not even a huge skull fan, overall. The Peace Sign is a mold-breaker. Graphite is expensive -- machined graphite even moreso. Basically an expensive, time-consuming PITA to make. Hence the higher price-tag, and its retirement. The 2-oz Ankh is another that falls under that category, though every now & then YPS has listed a few on their site.
Ten ounces of OMFG! I am holding a 10oz skull in my hands right now and it is f*cking incredible. Sorry, no photos just yet, I just got home from work.
It fits so nicely in the hand. It is wonderfully tactile. This is the sort of silver piece you keep on your desk to play with (well, I am anyway).
Next stop: Kilo Skull? Coolest. Kilo bar. EVER! Not sure if those from PB come with the coffin, though, which is icing on the cake. I know those from Provident don't.. Has to be direct from YPS.
I agree, and the 10oz cubes are second best. Would like to see a 1 kilo cube. I picked up one of the 4 oz dragons...not all that impressed with it, but I received lucky #88..might be worth something if I try to hawk it here in Toronto Chinatown at the local coin shop (DragonBullion). Also bought five 4oz Arachnikat kit kat bars which are pretty sweet (received #35 to 39 of 100minted) ...YPS still has 12 units of the latter in stock. Cheers, Luker
No kilo skulls left in stock at PB. None of them from PB come in coffins so I just add them to my jar of skulls.
Kinda tough photographing YPS stuff, due to its overly-shiny finish, especially in improper lighting. But recently dug up some of me pirate booty for show & tell.. 2-oz, 10-oz & Kilo Skull size comparison.. Pride O'Lions..
